Unusually for Marc Marquez, after a dominant performance from free practice to qualifying, finally successfully completed by the "Alien Baby" with a convincing victory in the race session.

Marquez just lost seats in the first corner only, then he drove the forefront and are not touched by another rider. Circuit of The Americas is the favorite Marc Marquez, and victory will be become the 4th him on this circuit for participating in MotoGP.
Marquez was still firmly in the MotoGP standings with 66 points, followed by Lorenzo with 45 points in the race this time managed to finish in 2nd posiis. Rossi failed to finish while still in third position of the standings with 33 points.
