Researcher Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) Aradila Caesar assess the need for good intentions and strong government and law enforcement agencies to hunt down all the corrupt fugitives who fled abroad. According to him, the arrest Samadikun Hartono, fugitive case of Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) in China is the first step to hunt down all fugitive corruptors.
"Caught one fugitive corruptors of course our appreciation of the excellent team of Interpol, prosecutors, and police involved in the operation. However, should certainly not be satisfied with the arrest of one because there are many fugitive criminals. It depends on the goodwill of government and law enforcement officials, "said Aradila in Jakarta, Saturday (16/4).
Aradila assess the arrest of the fugitive corruptors is actually easy to do. Because the technology is now sophisticated enough to track the whereabouts of this fugitive. Only problem is, he said, the synergy between Interpol, the Police and the Attorney General with Kemenkumham representing the government.

"The biggest obstacle is the jurisdiction, because we're talking about the sovereignty of another State. We can not arbitrarily go in other countries. So, we need to be negotiations on it.
