iPhone 7 use super-fast internet modem from Intel?
When the iPhone 6s are equipped with A9 processor, the iPhone 7 almost certainly carrying the A10. Interestingly, the A10 processor is claimed to be accompanied by modem from Intel.
As reported by Phone Arena (5.17), this is the fourth time since the beginning of the year where Apple is rumored to use the internet modem chipset from Intel. Intel is expected to supply 50 percent of iPhone modem 7, while the remainder are from Qualcomm.
The news was confirmed by the statement of the CEO of Qualcomm who admitted if it will lose customers modem, the possibility is Apple. In addition, last year Apple also reportedly sent engineers to Germany to observe the development of the Intel 7360 LTE modem.
Intel's new modem supports 4G technology Category 10 (Cat.10) that is capable of delivering download speeds of up to 450 Mbps! While the upload speed is 100 Mbps.
On the other hand, the site Mobipicker leaks when the iPhone 7 already being produced by the two contract partners Apple, Foxconn and Pegatron. iPhone 7 itself is believed to be Released in September 2016.
