Special Forces Command (Kopassus) inaugurated the Wind Tunnel Pusdiklatpassus, as a means of education and training for soldiers in parachuting.

It was announced by Head of Information (Kapen) Special Forces, Lt. Col. Inf. Joko Tri Hadimantoyo currently 64th anniversary of Kopassus in Mako Cijantung, East Jakarta.
"The theme of this time is, through the 64th Anniversary of Kopassus, we increase loyalty, morality and integrity in order to realize great Kopassus soldiers, professionals and loved the people," he said, Saturday (04/16/2016).
Joko explained, the anniversary of the Kopassus have been filled with various attractions such as, parades and demonstrations of martial Yong Moodo, Taekwondo, and Merpati Putih and action parachuting. "There is also cutting cone by TNI chief Gen. Gatot Nurmantyo given to the best Kopassus soldiers," he said.
They are, Sergeant Zulkarnain who successfully embraced Papua separatist armed movement to return to the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) and Sertu Dessy many parachuting championships won at the international level.
In addition to the above activities, previously Kopassus has also held various activities such as, gathering the elders of the former commander of Kopassus, fishing competition, hiking and servicing free motor, donor blood and the marathon 64 K, MURI record-breaking, shooting competition and so on.
Present in the alert, the Army Commander Gen. Gatot Nurmantyo, Army Chief of Staff Gen. Mulyono, Legal and Security Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, elders and former retired Special Forces and all soldiers of Group 1 Kopassus Serang, Group 2 Kopassus Kartosuro, Group 3 Kopassus Cijantung and Sat 81 Cijantung.
