Samadikun Arrested Corruptor Hunter Team

Attorney General HM Prasetyo ensure, Samadikun Hartono was arrested by a joint team of Indonesian corruptors hunters, not surrendering as mentioned later. Pascapenangkapan, Indonesia itself is still awaiting the return process is concerned.

"The question (Samadikun Hartono) was arrested by a team of hunters corruptors," said Attorney General HM Prasetyo, SP, Saturday (16/4).

Prasetyo explained, during these criminals hunter team already sniffing Samadikun presence in China. Surveillance is conducted in a place of refuge and sanctuary.

Samadikun (68) has been convicted in the case of misuse or BLBI bailout worth about Rp 2.5 trillion disbursed to Modern Bank following the financial crisis in 1998.

Losses that occurred in this case is Rp 169 billion. Based Mahamah Court decision dated May 28, 2003, the former Chairman of Bank PT Bank Modern Tbk was sentenced to four years in prison.

Since 2003, the fugitive Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) Samadikun Hartono managed to escape from the Integrated Team and Assets Convicts Suspected Hunter.

Former Commissioner of PT Bank Modern was allegedly constantly changing locations of Malaysia, Singapore, China to Australia to escape pursuit team police, prosecutors and Interpol.
