Director of the Center for Anti-Corruption (trawl) UGM Zainal Arifin Mochtar asked the government to respond to serious data Panama Papers.
"Countries should think seriously about the data Panama Papers,"he said when contacted, Sunday, April 10, 2016.
Zainal said it would be difficult to call the registered name, especially officials or politicians, to ask for an explanation of the relevance of their names on the list. In procedural law, the possibility of only witness or suspect to be formally questioned.
"Then the state can do the tracking treasure their name through the existing administration,"he said.
Zainal said it is not necessarily the name in the data that criminal conduct. But he suggested that the government should think about the possible reasons listed in the name of the character that data hide their money in that place.
"The effect of the data is enormous, as the resignation of the Prime Minister of Iceland, major effect in Indonesia could also happen," he said.
He considered detect treasure public officials listed in the name of supposedly easy. He suggested the state immediately verify the treasures that have been reported officials named on Wealth Report State (LHKPN). "If the store treasures in tax heavens , the official should list it on LHKPN," he said.
